My stay at this lodge was a bit of a mixed bag. It’s definitely good for budget travelers, but the rooms were outdated and not very clean. I appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower, but the uncomfortable mattresses made for a rough night. The friendly staff was a highlight, though I didn't interact with them much. It’s a decent option if you’re just looking for a place to crash on a budget, but don’t expect much comfort.

My stay at the Beaver Village Resort was quite disappointing. The place has potential but is severely let down by its maintenance and management. While the location could be great with more investment, the cleanliness and overall service were major drawbacks. If you're looking for a well-kept lodge, you might want to look elsewhere.

Rooms
5.0
The condos were in a terrible state. Filthy carpets, outdated furniture, and the kitchen was a complete mess.
Service
5.0
Service was not only unhelpful but downright rude at times. It seemed like management didn't care about guests' problems.
Location
5.0
The location is noisy due to the nearby rail line and the construction, making it less appealing.

Facilities

The facilities were poorly maintained, with a closed pool and unresolved construction issues adding to the frustrations.

It's a rustic gem that truly feels like a classic ski lodge. I loved the affordable prices, cozy atmosphere, and all the activities offered on site. However, a major concern for me was the lack of security, which really dampened my experience. Overall, the charm and warmth here are hard to beat, but the safety issue needs to be addressed.

Rooms

I stayed in a condo that was very nice, boasting a steam shower and a jacuzzi tub, making it super comfortable.

The dining experience was simple but good, with hot meals that we really appreciated after a day on the slopes.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this hotel. The location is charming, and the history adds uniqueness, but the room left much to be desired with cleanliness issues. The service was unprofessional at times, and I couldn't enjoy my stay fully. While the price was reasonable, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The hotel has a unique character due to its age, and it's in a pretty setting, but access can be tricky.

This hotel is an affordable choice in a resort town, making it great if all you need is a place to sleep. However, be prepared for noise from the highway and some dated facilities. The breakfast is a standout feature, and although the lodge has its quirks, it still offers good value for money.

Rooms
7.0
The room came with a king bed, mini fridge, and Wi-Fi, but the bed was pretty firm, which might not be everyone's preference. The absence of an elevator can be a challenge, especially with steep stairs to the second floor.
Service
8.0
The front desk was really helpful, accommodating a room switch when I found a broken TV initially. The staff, especially Nick, added a nice touch to my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located right on the highway entering town, allowing easy access to nearby attractions, but it can be quite noisy, so bring earplugs.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast was a delightful surprise with great options that I really enjoyed, making my mornings better.
Facilities
6.0
The lodge is older and has a rustic vibe, but it includes amenities like a jacuzzi, and a rental shop which adds some charm.
